A Halloween with PPT colors

By Kim

Last year, Halloween fell in the middle of a lockdown. This year, PPT didn’t miss the boat and Halloween at PPT means a lot of good reasons to have a good time! Does it surprise you if I tell you that the Pearson Pelletier Telecom team took the opportunity to unleash its madman on October 29? Who said Halloween was just for kids? Minimum effort required, pleasure guaranteed!

A whole squad

PPT of course celebrated Halloween in its own way. For the occasion, the team transformed itself into a truly diverse squad. You know you’re in for quite a show when you arrive in the morning and see your accounting staff dressed as T-Rexes, clowns and hippies, among other things. You’ll tell me: “It’s nothing compared to the evil clown climbing telecom towers and Michael Myers doing fiber tests.” (Yes, yes, that really happened). And I would answer you that it is indeed as worrying as seeing my project managers, you know the ones who manage several mandates, people and problems at the same time, disguised as a monkey and a cow among others. In short, each of the employees found themselves in one of two camps: scary or fun and it changed the place evil as they say!

For the occasion

For the occasion, we decided to organize a group dinner. The dinner was appreciated, it reminded us of our BBQ Fridays, except that despite the sunshine that day, it was a bit colder on this October 29th. By the way, talk to our Pocahontas and myself about the cold, nylon will be outlawed next year at this time. Everyone was firmly in character and to finish it all off we ate a LOT of sweets. Everyone filled their pockets for the return to their workplaces.

A well-considered vote

All the employees who got out their best suit, had a vote. Well yes, who says costume says contest, right? Of course, every costume caught the eye, but two costumes in particular received a large number of equal votes. The fight was hot, we had to do a second questioning in order to decide and crown our big winner! Hamid, disguised as a Machiavellian doll and Jocelyn, disguised as a deranged clown fought for the first place and it is finally Hamid who won (as it gives power to wear a skirt).

In short, we saw a lot that day, and it allowed me to retain the essential: PPT is really a sparkling win and it is this madness, the one in each person, which motivates me day after day to do the job I chose.
